This was a powerful Symposium attended by 80 Participants from all parts of Canada. I was a participant myself and I have learned a lot about the issues that workers from different sectors are facing. During the workshop, we had the chance to Practice how to prepare Strategic Plan and Actions on how to advocate about the many issues that we face at our workplaces and in our own communities to all levels of Government. It was a Three-day Session at the William W. Winpisinger education and Technology Center (W3 Center). My first time attending a Training like this and it inspired me, and opened my eyes that I can make a difference not only for myself but also for others through Lobbying. We can do more if we work together as a team! We cannot achieve anything if we will not make that first step, be involved.
